Cockerel and Cat

I sometimes wonder at how surreal my life is.

Take this image from this morning. I was sitting having a morning coffee, reading the news when I heard a tapping at the French doors. I looked up to see this sight.

I'm sure it was Barry the Silkie Cockerel who was knocking but wouldn't be surprised if Keira the cat had put him up to it.
However, Keira was let in -Barry wasn't. He stayed a while to see if I would relent though.
