the entrance

to Cae Glass Park...which can be found on Church Street,

the One Street I blipped a few days ago
The Park was opened in 1910 and at it's entrance each year on Remembrance Sunday wreaths are laid by different groups from the community and area

on the inside of the pillars are long lists of names.....soldiers, people who gave their life in the First World War

the texts on the pillar front still speak today....

lots of events and activities are held in the park....the kid's play area is always busy, the bandstand is used in the summer and brass bands come and play at times....

not a lot of mojo today...One STreet is nice to fall back on....:)
