Hooky Day

Jake is in school until the 23rd but Elizabeth let him have a hooky day today and they filled it with activities he loves. We went to see Santa and had lunch at the mall! They went to the Pittock Mansion, all decorated for Christmas, and then watched Home Alone when they got home. (That is a big treat in their house ). He’s a great student so one day missing isn’t going to hurt and it’s worth it in memories.
Grateful for...having my husband home. He’s been gone for a week skiing in Colorado!
