The Groom Sees the Bride
On Wednesdays I work from home. I do online office hours. More students come to my online office than my face-2-face office at the campus. Anyway, I was home minding my own business when I heard Mr. Fun's car arrive late this afternoon.
He had a small pause in his schedule before going back for a full evening program. I had been busy at my laptop. Had over 50 student emails to respond to--egads. Of course I had Blipfoto open and would catch an occasional peak at the thumbnails between emailing students. Okay, I'd even comment on a few.
But the Blip page was diminished in the background as I stepped away for a moment. When I came back, guess who was sitting at my computer. He activated the Blip window and started looking to see what I had done the past few days.
First he wanted to know, "Hey, do you have anymore of those Dove ice cream bars you blipped yesterday?"
Then he clicked backward another day. I watched the groom as he watched the bride. For a moment the silence was enormous. Then I grabbed the camera and he asked "what are you photographing?" It was a very special viewing as we both reminisced about a significant moment in our lives. It was a "blip moment" for Mr. Fun & Rosie.
Well, that's a miniature window into our day. Good night from a Southern California that is covered in clouds.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
