Lone tree

In one of A's fields which I went through on the way to the shop to get stamps for the cards that I actually managed to get around to writing this morning.
Not a lot else done but has had the stitches removed from my minor op last week.  
A bit of a minor altercation in the surgery as the nurse was moaning to the receptionist who was decorating the tree that she (the receptionist) should be playing Chris Rea's Driving Home for Christmas and kept being told...."I don't have it"'.....nurse was not impressed!
