Muddy water

The news this morning was grim and the weather was to match, with heavy rain overnight having flooded the road between Linton and Hadstock.  I took pictures of the mud and the flood and my mood darkened increasingly listening to the endless election news reports.  Today's result being the worst case scenario in my opinion.

Luckily for you, instead of puddles,  the pet magnets Ben and Ellie were snuggled on the sofa this afternoon with the dog (who is not supposed to be there) which made for a much happier photo on this gloomy, significant, Friday 13th.
