Houston, we have a problem!

My mother called, saying that their computer wouldn't start. I went to check it out and it turned out that a Windows update had probably failed, so a Windows reinstall might be needed. As the computer needs more speed and the hard drive might be faulty, too, I decided to bring it home and open it to change the hard drive to an SSD (which I'll have to buy).

Always a bit exciting to open a laptop as they are not made user-serviceable, but Youtube helps. Two very flimsy cable couplings were a little worrying. Managed to copy all the data from the old disk, so nothing important is lost.
