Shopping
It was dark when I left home at 0730 hours and dark when I returned home at 1730 hours after walking over 17,000 steps.
In between those times I shopped in Cambridge with our daughter and granddaughter, stopping for the usual coffee and cake as well as lunch, which included a delicious pudding.
Today’s picture shows them walking back to the car with their first lot of shopping; what is not very visible is that Victoria has two large bags rather than just the one, which is visible. I was walking behind, with, at that time, only one large bag.
My husband was at home, as planned, the man was coming to repair the freezer, which was making a rather strange noise. It seems it was a build up of ice and he used a “steamer” to clear it. Apparently we should allow it to thaw out for twenty-four hours, leaving the door open, once a year in the summer. What does he think we would do with all the food while this is done?
The temperature at GMT noon today was six degrees Celsius; it rained first thing, but was then dry all day.
