Cripple Creek Ferry
Today I ended up doing a photo shoot for EBVC based just outside of town. They wanted a whole load of portraits and a few group photos. It was quite interesting to do as I've never really done something that formal other than weddings. All of them were pretty humorous so that was a plus. Afterwards I headed down to Ullswater to catch the setting sun. The lake was still at first then a gentle breeze came in from the west. The sky was incredibly bright and the sun was slightly diffused through some colourful clouds.
This one had to be a 5 shot HDR. When it came to processing using the preset 'photographic' on Photomatix worked quite well with minor tweaking. Then I brought it into CS5 and further evened out the difficult light.
