At work again. Really low numbers now as a few people got approved leave and a few got let go. But still just as busy as usual. Doing some morning tasks we had the opportunity to go to the lookout above the mine. Hopefully I'll get to go underground soon.

In other news, awful to hear about the new right wing conservative landslide in the UK. I acknowledge that there were no good candidates. However, I am ashamed to be British when the majority can elect a racist, sexist, homophobic, power hungry liar who is best buds with Donald Trump; someone representing a party that has insulted the victims of Grenfell, put pressure on the NHS, lead to a sharp rise in homelessness, a 10 fold increase in food banks and has lead a campaign of misinformation and hiding from public scrutiny. Surely Brexit is not worth that cost. Anyway, sadly there were no good options in this election.

Rant over, normal services will resume.
