Blue Maomao conductor

Tuesday is our diving day! We head out with "Dive! Tutukaka" for the Poor Knights Islands. The diving out there is just superb! This pic is from the diving site "Blue Maomao Arch", apparently (but not surprisingly once we've been down there) one of Jaques Cousteau's 10 favourite dive sites in the world. This is our guide, swimming up into the school of blue maomao and then conducting the fish in swirls of silver, as they try to stay at the same distance from his hands as he waves them around. Beautiful!
