Can’t a girl have some privacy!!

These little character are so SO hard to photograph because they’re so flighty but I caught this one looking at me through the window this morning.  I have to tell you this was the best of about 150 shots that I took of it.  The fact that it was camouflaged in the grass didn’t help.  He was happily chewing away on the grass seeds.

My thoughts are with Mr and Mrs Isbi tonight as they keep a vigil down at their farm in the Megalong.  The fire flared up in Nellies Glen during the afternoon when the wind picked up a bit.  All was well when we spoke earlier and they have a fire crew down there with them keeping them safe.  It is definitely worrying times for everyone in the mountains at the moment.  There’s no rain to speak of on the radar and that’s the big worry.  Usually at this time of the year we have a few big storms and something like that is what we really need right now.
