Putting on a show

Winter Jasmine is beginning to open along the fence.

Was out all yesterday afternoon delivering cards and catching up with friends.  When I returned home the lights on the Christmas Tree wouldn't work.  Hoped it was just the fuse which I changed today.  The lights are very old and I think they have reached their natural demise.

Will now have the hassle of getting some more and get the old lights off and new ones on, on a tree that is fully decorated!

Tonight I am out for a Christmas dinner with the hospital Eye Clinic staff.  I am attending as a guest of a friend who is a volunteer there.  Will have to catch up on Strictly tomorrow.
