Brutus and Katy

There was a Christmas market on today is Sedbergh, and I decided to walk down earlier than usual. Brutus decided to come with me. My first attempt got part way down the drive. I decided to walk back, duly followed by Brutus. As I approached the front door I was on my own, so I thought he must have been distracted. I resumed my walk into town. As I went down the drive he came flying past me towards the road. Fortunately he responded to my yell, and we returned to the house. This time I got him inside the house before completing my walk into town. On my return home I found him on the sofa with his sister.
