70TH BIRTHDAY FOR HUBBY

Well that's it I'm officially married to an old man now - eeeek!!!!  Where has that time gone too!!!??

Thank you all so much for stars and hearts from yesterday's blip.

After opening his cards and pressies Hubby went into town, as he does every Saturday.  I on the other hand had a very exciting morning doing household chores!!!

Will be taking G and Hubby to Thyme Out this evening for one of their Greek Mezze evenings to celebrate Hubby's 70th birthday.  He's not one for big parties or anything like it so this is as good as it gets for him.  Although we will be having a delayed birthday outing in January with some friends in January.

The main photo is of Hubby's birthday cade, made by the lovely Helen from The Cake Company in Grange.  It's superb.  The garden shed is because of his gardening and the anchor is because of his 25 years in The Royal Navy.  He chose to have a lemon drizzle cake because of the fruit cake he will have for Christmas.  Sooo much cake (and I rarely eat cake eeeek).
