Maggie

I went to the beach yesterday and was surprised by the  highest tide I have ever seen. No wind but a wild sea, with sneaker waves that moved even big logs close to the dunes. There was not much room for walking so we had to retreat to the dunes. Some extra pics in the "extras".
Maggie waited patiently and sometimes a bit bored or frustrated for me, as I got into a photography frenzy.
When I saw this picture I was touched by the clear signs of her advanced age, which I normally don't notice very much, as she is still having a good gait and is an active and loving dog. My best friend. Her  paws have turned white and seem a bit wider than years ago. Her face is bearing a white mask now.
