Rough Seas

Tide was on its way out this morning at Westward Ho! The temperature was 8'C and there was 34 mph gale force winds, (surf report). I went a bit further around the bay. The posts you can see, are the remains of the old pier, which was built around 1870-73. But after storm damage it was demolished in 1880 and never rebuilt.

Chores and shopping done, Tesco was heaving this afternoon. And had Classic FM on while writing Christmas cards. Going to cut the list right back next year, as arthritis in my pen finger makes writing painful. Not impressed with this getting older bit! Other than being pleased to wake up every morning ;-)
