Powis Castle

We visited Powis Castle this afternoon to see the gardens lit up. We went early and did the castle first, had a cuppa and a scone and then walked around the gardens. It was beautiful and has made me feel quite Christmassy. I spotted the peacocks in the garden and they started jumping onto the wall begging for food. One of them turned around and jumped towards me, scaring the life out of me! Fortunately my finger pressed the photo button and I managed to get this.

It's well worth a visit if you're in the area on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night.
