Fork

Not quite sure what happened to the week.  But, I do recall that after work on Tuesday we did dog training and I went to yoga on Wednesday evening.  Of course on Thursday I voted and on Friday I worked from home.

Things are feeling more Christmassy but we've yet to get any decorations up at home. I've started cutting stems from the garden to create something to go on the front door - probably not a wreath but more a bunch to foliage with berries and seed heads.

Today after the morning dog walk and cleaning, I went to the allotment.  I don't feel I have spent much time there recently but I particularly wanted to try out some loppers I bought earlier in the week.  My secateurs just weren't up to cutting through some of the thick stems but the loppers are brilliant - well worth the money.  Unfortunately it was one step forward, one step back, as in my efforts to dig up a big woody rootball from an old bramble bush I managed to snap my garden fork in half!  I've never done that before!  So, I will be garden fork shopping this week - not sure how successful I will be as the garden centres around here seem to have put away most of their gardening goods to make room for Christmas decorations and food.

My blip is of the new plot I have taken on.  I have been working on the front section today but as you can see, there is still much to do before I can plant anything there.

Well, I hope your day has been a good one and I wish you a peaceful and very happy Sunday.  Best wishes x
