Both in Heaven now

My Mother went to Heaven this morning, peacefully and quietly.

My mother; a lady doctor ahead of the times, well-travelled, a mother to 5 and grandmother to 18, 86 years old and clever to the end. Even as dementia fought against her logic, reason and memory, she stayed clever, always formidable in any word or strategy game.

But above any earthly attainment, she became convinced as a late teenager that the Good News of the Gospel was the salvation of all who believed and trusted in Jesus.

So I haven’t lost my mother. I know exactly where she is.
