St Dunstan’s Cranbrook

Another church at night. We were here for the annual performance by St Agnes Fountain who have come together the past 19 years for a Christmas tour. Comprising of the indomitable Chris Leslie, Julie Matthews and Chris While (David Hughes was ill with pneumonia) they sing and perform wonderful interpretations of carols and other Christmas music which is as uplifting as Kate Rusby was last Tuesday.

Earlier we’d been to the Allotment Christmas lunch which was a very enjoyable affair with good food and good company.

And even earlier we’d walked, briskly, into town for a bit of shopping and a coffee, then walked to the lunch and walked home afterwards. A good 7.5 mile walk which helped balance the calorie intake of the lunch.
