After Lunch

Today marks the 31st anniversary of my arrival here as an immigrant.  It still seems like yesterday, but it is more than half a lifetime ago and so, so much has happened since then.  Looking back, I have no regrets.

Went to work, worked, went back home.

MOOCked as usual, plus housework.  There is some comfort in routine ... just some.  It helps with counting down.

In the meantime, these students are working on their reports and I'm coaching the whole time.  Their deadline is directly after the New Year, on Sunday, 5 Jan, at 23.00, by which time they should have uploaded their work.  Starting Monday, 6 Jan, I'll be correcting it -- 5 classes, meaning 135 reports.
