Joruri puppet theater

I went to Awaji island in Japan to participate a study tour for tour guides.

One puppet is manipulated by 3 puppeteers, one handles face and right hand and others are legs and left hand.

They wear black suits and handle a puppet. It i a wonderful performance with all three puppeteers in perfec sync.

The puppets impressed me so much as if they have body and soul. Sometimes very delicate and energetic.
