Sunset surfer........

After an indulgent afternoon tea (feast) this afternoon, I went to the beach hoping that the bushfires to the north, south and east of Perth would produce an interesting sky. I mean, there must be a positive amongst all the awfulness out there. Anyway, it was a bit of a fizzer but at least the breeze was cooling after so manyl hot days. 

This rusty iron sculpture is called "Pause" and represents a surfer looking out to sea and deciding if it's worth heading out. The sculptor is April Pine.
