Last show....

I had a very successful 'last show' of 2019!    The Pop-up show that another artist and I did, at the Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design was a great success.

Had to get up at 6.45am....not very good at that any more, but i did it, scraped the ice of the car windows and headed up to Sydney.  My lovely friend Kelly met me there at 8 am and we began setting up the space.  It's just so nice to have a good friend there to help and sort things out...we only had about an hour and a bit to get it all set up but we did it.   Lots of good conversations and very good sales made for a very enjoyable day there!   It's a lovely venue, Holley and Teena who run the Gallery are just fabulous, and so helpful.  Usually it takes a good 1/2 or more to just re wrap all the pots and box them up...but i didn't have to do that....i left them there at the gallery for them to sell during the season, and beyond.   We were out of there by 4.15 pm!!!

But then the drive home was absolutely brutal!   Torrential rain, wind and fog made for a very tense drive....also an accident at the top of Kelly's Mountain didn't help at all!!!   Anyway, got home to a warm and cozy home, had a couple of g & t's.....and dinner!
