Scopa

EB (Emergency Blip) today. Been quite busy, a friend (partner was due too, but is instead at home recovering from last night’s - work party - excesses) came for lunch and after Mr B and G played Scopa. A popular Italian card game played with a special deck of cards.

Mr B triumphantly chucking down his winning card. No idea what the rules are, but both always look forward to playing it. A game you see elderly men playing sitting outside a café in the sun, or shade (while their wives are in the kitchen).

Funny weather, mainly horrid and windy. Missed un-forecast local hail. Now 3 pm too late to go out anyway. 4pm G has gone. Shall check some credit card statements. And then relax.
