On the way to Chai-Yo

Tonight we joined Isabel, Zandile, and Sophia for some Thai, yo. After that all of us went into town to see "Marimba Extravaganza" at the National Arts Center, which was awesome. I've seen a handful of marimba performances so far, and there's something fun and welcoming about the music. Dancing, storytelling, and Xhosa poetry were all incorporated into the 40-piece set, all fully-costumed. I'd have loved to bring back some pictures, but the theater attendants were viciously opposed.
