Almost Home

Left Santa Fe this morning - headed for the Albuquerque airport for another quick and easy flight home. Upgraded again to first class which makes flying seem so civilized. Mimosas served upon boarding, followed by a quite tasty light lunch at 35,000 feet. Thank you once again Alaska Airlines!

Caught this shot just as we were descending into Portland. I’m always delighted to see the rivers and green fields and trees....and layers of clouds. I saw all the mountains today too (four: Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainer, Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood) but liked this shot the best.

I’m settling in tonight for the rest of the year, travel-wise at least. Three family birthdays and of course Christmas on the horizon. Good to be home!
