Mackintosh Detail

Another fabulous day in Glasgow, when the winter light was streaming through the Mackintosh Church.

At lunch time I managed to take an interior shot in the south west stairwell. The Church is such a fascinating place to explore. Each day you can see something new that Mackintosh has created in this wonderful space. Today I was attracted to this detail on the balustrade. There is something mystical about these shapes, that only Mackintosh knows the true meaning.
