Indoor Blip: Bloom and Bulb-like Bud

See the powdery pollen and stamen shadows in large.

A family friend brought these impressive Amaryllis flowers when she visited, and I've been thinking about when (and how) to photograph them ever since. They were surprisingly tricky (probably because of their impressive size, space constraints, and my macro lens being a 105mm...) but I found some intriguing angles and lighting effects.
