Looking slightly startled

Mono Monday theme, set by Carolina, is Favourite , preferably an ornament. Christmas decoration counts as an ornament I think.
This is mine. 
It was given to me by my friend Anne who sadly died in about 2012. We were best friends at Junior school which we started on the same day when we were seven. She was my bridesmaid.
She used to send a little gift each Christmas usually a decoration or something the children would like. She never had children of her own but was much loved by those she taught.
Her wonderful husband sent a message in his Christmas card this year to say he has remarried. The very best of luck and good wishes to them both.
