Getting there ...

This 1000-piece puzzle is remarkably challenging, but enjoyable. Think I might just finish it before Christmas. Today we also got our Christmas cards in the post: phew! Better late than never.

Did take a snap of a garden visitor - a woodpecker - but through the (dusty) window and so rather grainy. Also he was half-hidden by the nuts-feeder that he was eating from. So the jigsaw wins the day!

Very cloudy all day today but hoping for sunshine tomorrow. It's just nice having a couple of days' respite from gales.
