Twin Lakes

I took the boys to Twin Lakes this morning, accompanied by a friend who lives really close to it (her parents nearly bought the farm house there, back when it was still a farm). 

I'd treated the family (er, me and the boys) to annual passes (they do a very good black Friday deal on annual passes), so we collected them and off we went for Christmas fun.  The boys had a great time going on lots of ride, including an inflatable 'snow dome', they bumped into all kinds of Christmas characters who were dressed up so nicely and the Christmas decorations there were fantastic.  Very nice to spend some really lovely time with them. 

The rest of the day was pretty quiet, and they were happy to have a quiet afternoon.  We're are very much feeling the end of the first term at school - that said, the husband did pop out to the pub with them whilst I got dinner ready - they all loved it!
