Orion, again
I missed the moon tonight....too much cloud when I went out earlier and now it's gone...how very rude.
So south it was and you have Orion, with Sirius down and to the left and Procyon far left, level with the belt, more or less. ...I think that's what it is anyway.
Also you can see the Great Nebula just beneath the belt, there are many fabulous pictures of this on google.
I'd quite like to host the next series of Stargazing, so long as Dara and Coxy do not mind sharin the spare room with me hanging out the bedroom windows taking not very good sky photos. I'd make cake and hot chocolate, and offer drinkies too.
