Spotted this cheery little number in a shop down the road today, it made me smile rather wryly!

Busy Monday. My 96, soon to be 97 year old M in L is visiting so we went for a walk down into the dip and onto the pop up shop there. Bought a couple of cards and things but managed to resist this book, I did wonder if the author /publisher can possibly hope to make any money out of it. Our purchases rewarded us with a voucher for a free hot drink in the parent shop across the road, so, not wanting to appear ungrateful we forced ourselves over the road and indulged ourselves with coffee and a tea cake each... Well it would have been rude not to!
Lots of rectory toing and froing today too. Then at 4.40 it was off to Isobel's nursery to see her in her Carol concert, — aww moment!
Back home to give mum dinner then off to bridge, where we had the good grace not to win tonight.
