My first raptor rescued

K and I were walking at the park and she saw a hawk sitting on the ground nearby.When we got a little closer he hopped away, getting frighteningly close to the road. After awhile it was clear that he couldn’t fly and I couldn’t just leave him there. I eventually tracked down a woman who is licensed to capture and transport and she came to pick him up. She thought he night have a broken wing, but it turns out his wings weren’t the problem.  I hope he will be ok - I’m going to call later and see how he is.
