I bring you Christmas cheer from Mr Robbie Williams.

I saw these tickets (expensive) a few weeks ago to see RW at Wembley Arena for his Christmas Present show. We hummed and arghed about getting them but we’ve always wanted to see him and we said it can be our Christmas presents to each other.

Scott Mills, radio 1 DJ, was doing a pre concert set getting the crowd into the spirit before the main man came onto stage. The first half of the floor in the arena was for standing tickets, the next half seated and then seated up around the arena. We were in the last row of the seated floor area. Some girls (ladies) in the first of the seated area were standing up and we could see a lot of discussion with them and the security people. They eventually sat down however, as soon as Robbie came on the whole arena stood up. Later on during the show they were removed by security. Of course, we don’t know why, was it drink, abusive or a jobs worth security lot. I tend to think it may have been one of the first.

Anyway, back to the show. RW is a great entertainer and we loved his show of some Christmas songs old and new mixed in with some of his hits. He did a duet with his dad and Jamie Cullum came on at the end to do a duet with him too. I took more video clips of him singing than photos.

We used to go to Wembley quite a lot back in the day to see concerts but my it’s changed. A lovely car free precinct with lots of eateries and decorated lovely for this time of year.

(In other news I had a lovely facial with Clarins, a birthday pressie from Bex).
