Once upon a time ...

... on a sunken green lane, on the edge of the Northumberland national park, there lived a community of hares. They lived undisturbed in a network of tunnels, under a large tree. One day Mike and Louise were happening by and Louise, with her superhuman eyesight, spotted one of them. After investigating around the base of the tree and determining a number of access & egress points for 'Haresville', Mike and Louise retired to a sensible distance and waited, with their cameras poised.

Of course, the hares were wise to this. So they stayed indoors until Mike & Louise got too cold to wait any longer.
