peacock blue

Sometimes my photographic skills are used for commercial purposes..today I was snapping some running gear which is destined for eBay and it was very difficult to get the right colour, even when I brought it outside and adjusted the temperature settings. The peacock looks as though he was interested in what I was doing, but don't be deceived; he was only perching around in the hope of getting some peanuts, which he will eat out of a hand. As you can see, he is growing back his magnificent tail feathers which should be ready for the mating season in March. What a pity (for him) that there are no peahens living nearby...
