What is it?

This morning I was rather tired after last night's party (and I had not had anything to drink after the initial glass of prosecco). Mum and I were slow to get going and the morning slipped away.

I had an appointment at Newcastle General at 1200. It was a follow up to check that I'm better after having a mood dip at the end of the summer, into autumn. I'm feeling very much better now, so it was an easy consultation.

On my way back to the car, I noticed this sculpture which stands outside one of the departments. Newcastle General has the Campus for Ageing and Vitality (previously old age services). There is no plaque beside the sculpture and I don't know what it is meant to be.

A Google search did not help.

Any ideas please?

I did a Morrisons' shop, including a whole salmon. (Just have to cut it up now.......sigh). It's a very economical way to buy it, of course!

I've cooked dinner, made soup, stewed apple and still want time to make progress with Christmas cards and present wrapping.
