Lady's Tower

Our Tuesday outing was a walk from Pittenweem to Elie. It was cold, and we though of abandoning the walk for lunch in a cafe. That would have been a big mistake. On the way we saw a new statue, an exotic V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, a heron closer that I think I have ever been before, and  kestrel hovering close to us.

As we approached Elie the sun came out, and the views out to sea were excellent. It will take me a while to work through all my photos, so I will share just three - all including Lady's tower at Elie. It was built in 1760 as a changing room for Lady Anstruther.
