Fall Guy

After hours of reading on lots of different methods of creating a fall for a wet room shower floor, I decided today was the day to take the plunge!
As we had 150mm of depth to make up from the EPS base, with a 1:40 fall to the shower channel drain, I opted for a stiff concrete mix for the first 70 mm, topped with 65-80 mm of sharp sand/cement screed to obtain the gradient for water run off.
I'm happy with job, will be left to cure now before tanking, time will tell if it's been a success.
