Hideaway

Sun broke the cloud cover for a brief spell this afternoon lighting up the bright yellow grass on the edge of the marsh. I framed a few tufts through a gap in the backlit trees which really emphasized their colour.

The scene reminded me of childhood days building dens and such like in fields and woods, using nothing more than our imaginations and nature around us.

When editing I raised the shadows to show some detail in the darkest areas and adjusted the light and shade on the grasses to create depth.
