Django Unchained

I think, like many, Quentin Tarantino was pretty much the instigator of my interest in cinema and thereby photography.

I have come to make a living out of working in that field, which makes me feel blessed. But sometimes it saddens me when I get clustered with assignment that mean so little.

Watched QT's new film today. It was grand. Two years ago I wrote a treatment for a music video where I came up with the idea of having a slave escape his lynching by way of thunder striking the tree. Amidst the chaos he escapes only to realize that this deus ex machina should not stop there. He turns back to strike down on the lunch mob, outnumbered though he may be.

It would've been great had I done that then.
