SAILING

A busy day with a Christmas Concert at the school for Angus and Scarlett.
A lovely lot of singing by the kids.......and me.  :))  DA popped in for a chat and a cuppa.
After Stephen collected Angus from school we all went to the Fremantle Sailing Club to see the Clipper Round the World yachts that are currently in port.  We were shown over the yacht, Seattle.  Scarlett was concerned we were going sailing, Angus couldn't wait to climb aboard.
They showed us all around - how confined you must be at times.
They had a very rough moment coming from Cape Town and some damage was caused and they were still working on it today.
The blip shows Angus working on the grinder with a chap from Seattle who was still acclimatising to the heat.
I will include the blip in Bobs Wide Wednesday even though doesn't fit the challenge - they did have Happy Christmas hanging near the galley.
The yachts head off on the next leg this Sunday, 22 December.
