Gummer’s How

A trip to Kendal to see AJ. Good. From Kendal to Windermere to the well-known home kitchen shop and lunch - tasty.    Managed to park in Windermere itself and so was able to browse in several of the nice shops there.  Then, inspired by Flavia 13 yesterday a quick stop at Blackwell to look in the shop for final Christmas inspiration.  By the time I left Blackwell it was raining, so a quick trip to Gummer's How for a blip.  Coniston Fells had disappeared in the gloom.

Home to Cumberland sausage and onion marmalade for our meal this evening.
