A visit from one of my sewing friends to deliver a card and have a coffee this morning. Interesting card which will be blipped later, can see now why she didn’t want to put it in the post.

This evening we went to the Isaac Newton Christmas Lecture 2019 at Lincoln Uni. Professor Anna Marie Roos and Dr Fabian Paillusson gave two fascinating lectures on DNA. I could follow some of it....not all of it.....but I now know more than I did before I left home.

It prompted me to Google Rosalind Franklin, a contemporary of Watson, Crick and Wilkins. I now realise that she died before they were awarded their Nobel Prize in Medicine In 1962
