The Welcome Tree

This tree stands in the hallway ready to welcome guests into our home.

A neighbour called round this morning with bad news and good. The bad was that her husband was ill with a virus and so their Xmas do on Friday was postponed. The good was that she offered us their tickets for “A Christmas Carol” at Pitlochry this afternoon.

So it was a quick change of plans and a foggy drive up the A9 to see the performance. Probably fair to say it wasn’t our favourite show this year, but it made a nice change.

A horrible dark and very wet drive home.
