Me and Mehitabel

Worked on my painting today in open studio. I spent most of my time working on my face. I still have a ways to go, especially around the mouth area, but it is getting better each time I work on it. I also simplified the background and changed the color. Here is what it looked like after I finished last time. One more session should finish it.

It was our holiday pot luck lunch today. We each bring a painting to give away. We draw numbers and get whichever painting has our number. Today I got a great fall tree painted by Barb C. It's one of my favorites of the ones I've watched her paint. Mine went to Lori V. The lunch was delicious and we had a great day together.
