Detail of the decals and "vibrating shuttle" (it goes backwards and forwards!) of a Singer hand-crank sewing machine I bought several years ago on Ebay. I've only just been able to get it properly identified, and as it turns out it's one of a batch of 250,000 that would have been made in 1908-9. I think it's beautiful. Which is annoying since I was hoping it might be worthless tat I could cheerfully get rid of!
